Genealogy

My main interest in genealogy has been researching the Ladbury name, but I have also researched the rest of my family tree, and that of my in-laws and my children's in-laws. Any research I have personally published is on www.ladbury.org but there are is also material on www.ancestry.co.uk where my identity is GrahamJWood

I have been researching my family tree for more than 50 years, during which time I have amassed connections to more than 8000 names. The mechanisms have ranged from rolls of paper, through a card index, to generations of computer based tools. I have to say I don't miss the days of traveling to London to manually search through births, marriages and deaths indexes.
